BCS is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with the Source Molecular Corporation of Miami, Florida to provide innovative microbial source tracking (MST) services. All microbial source tracking services are now offered through Source Molecular.

The Source Molecular Corporation is a team of scientists and business professionals with experience in genetic and molecular sciences. The company is dedicated to the field of microbial source tracking using the most advanced molecular biological techniques

Among those spearheading this joint partnership are Dr. George Lukasik and Dr. Troy Scott. Both are considered authorities in the field of microbial source tracking with numerous publications in prestigious journals relevant to the field.1,2  As a consequence of this joint collaboration, all MST work is now  centralized in one state-of-the-art facility in Gainesville, Florida.  

BCS and Source Molecular have successfully developed and marketed several cutting edge MST services that are now being widely used by the water industry. Clients include environmental engineering firms, federal, state and local government entities, wastewater facilities, and watershed management groups.

The joint partnership's leading DNA analytical services are the E. coli ID,  Human Fecal Virus ID, Cow E. coli ID, Pig E. coli ID Crypto ID Giardia ID, and Human Enterococcus ID services.
